Bespoke ceremonies are what we as celebrants are all about! While we most commonly conduct bespoke funerals, weddings, renewal of vows and naming ceremonies, we can also work with you to create any type of ceremony you choose.
Ceremonies act as important markers of the key milestones we reach in our lives, and these milestones will be different for everyone. Whatever the occasion or circumstance, our celebrants will work with you to create a truly meaningful ceremony.
Here are a few examples of the more bespoke ceremonies our celebrants have conducted:
- Separation or divorce ceremonies, allowing you to amicably part ways, providing closure and leading you into the next stage of your lives.
- Naming ceremonies for adults who have changed their name following a separation or a gender reassignment.
- Graduation or coming of age ceremonies.
- Pregnancy or Mother Blessing ceremonies.

Simply visit the AOIC celebrant directory to find the right celebrant for you amongst our membership. All our members are expected to follow the AOIC core values of best practice to ensure they always deliver a professional service to the highest standards. They are also fully covered by public liability and professional indemnity insurance.
Finding the right celebrant is important, so do some research, ask some questions and then go with your instinct when it says: ‘this is the celebrant for us’. A good celebrant will listen to what you want, provide plenty of ideas, write you a ceremony as per your wishes, and work with you until it is perfect. And finally, they will conduct your ceremony with professionalism and warmth, so that you can relax and enjoy every moment.
