I see my role of celebrant to be as a gentle guide in helping you to create a ceremony that is meaningful, warm and personal for your loved one. From the time of our initial contact, to the day of the ceremony, we work together to bring about that unique celebration which your loved one so rightly deserves. There are few boundaries; no two people are the same, and therefore no two funeral ceremonies are the same. Together we can make this very special.
When my husband was given a terminal diagnosis we met with Frances to discuss arrangements for his funeral.
She came with listening ears, a big heart and lots of ideas how to put his wishes into action. This allowed us to have a rough plan before he died.
Then after his passing Frances came over again and our adult children and I sat around the table with her until we had finalised the cremation service and a fantastic celebration of life, to match what he really wanted.
We had a beautiful family cremation that was so personal and perfect for us.
The celebration of life was a big, noisy service, slide show, music, friends talking about their childhood memories and special memories from everyone.
Frances was the perfect person to lead us through the journey, from planning after diagnosis, to support through the services; making the whole process easier, less painful and smoother for all the family and friends.
