I am a qualified Independent Professional Celebrant specialising in providing unique and personal ceremonies for any occasion and at any venue.
I grew up in Sussex but have travelled extensively. Warm, caring, and perhaps a little bit quirky.
While I was travelling a great deal and had the good fortune to be part of many different celebrations from a wide range of cultures, from which I learnt to value and respect each and every one.
I will meet you well in advance of the day and learn about what you want. I can then make your service unique. I am very happy to incorporate poems, songs, readings, or special ceremonial exchanges. If you want to jump over a ladder or do a dance in wellington boots, that’s OK with me – I will even wear my glittery wellies if you want.
I am open minded, kind hearted and genuinely interested in hearing what you want.
Why am I a celebrant?
That’s very easy. I just love meeting people and hearing about their stories.
Knowing me Knowing You ahaa?
If I am going to lead your Ceremony then I believe that we have to get to know each other. I take as much time as needed in doing this. I meet you, in person if possible, and spend time talking about what is important to you in your ceremony. I will share ideas and help you create the ceremony you didn’t even know was possible.
Celebration of Life/Funerals
Being asked to lead a funeral service or celebration of life is a huge honour and one I take very seriously. Loosing a friend or family member is never going to be easy and having someone who can guide you through creating a ceremony that is fitting is so essential. I pride myself in my caring and non-judgemental nature. My own life experiences have, I firmly believe, helps me to understand grief – and that there are no rules around how you feel.
